About Dieter Meyer

Dieter Meyer , freelance 3D Artist currently located in Red Deer, Canada

I’m very passionate about modeling, texturing and lighting. Especially developing military vehicles and aircraft.

Originally I started out my career as a sign layout and airbrush artist until I got hooked in the 3D world. Since then I’ve never looked back and have had opportunities to work on some very fun and interesting projects!

3D Scenes & Illustrations

Complete creation of CG art including design, 3D modeling, texturing and high resolution rendering.
Characters, creatures, objects and environments for print, advertising, mattes and other related areas.

Visualization & Industrial Design

Visualization or pre-viz of vehicles, interiors, industrial products and of course architectural visualization.

Games

Creation of low poly 3D characters and objects as well as imagery for computer and video games.

Being a CG Artist for many years, I’ve had the opportunity to work with most 2D, 3D software on the market, especially when working within studio environments. However like a lot of artists there are always the favorites and the following software is what I use on a consistent basis.

I am available for hiring on a freelance basis.

I’ve developed a workflow using certain applications I’m happy with, but I’m comfortable and experienced using most of the common industry standard 3D applications.
